Major Events
Trolley Outings
The Chamber hosts a variety of trolley tours, shuttles and special events with our three Chamber trolleys.
Waterfest
Waterfest is the largest event the Chamber hosts and the biggest festival in town, held on the fourth weekend every June. Vendor booths line Broadway offering shopping, food and libations. Free live entertainment.
Irish Festival
New in 2024, the first Annual Excelsior Springs Irish Festival. Enjoy food trucks, craftsman booths, a magician for the kids, beer tents, and music to round out the day.
Farmers Market
Held on Wednesday downtown Excelsior Springs in the Hitch Lot off South street, June through October.
Excelsior Expo
The Excelsior Expo highlights our best local businesses have to offer right before the holiday shopping season kicks off. The Expo is one of the many free benefits of being a Chamber member and is held on the second Saturday each November.
Christmas Celebration
The Community Christmas celebration is held each year on the Saturday before Thanksgiving and is hosted by the Downtown Excelsior Partnership. Activities include the Elf Factory, lighted Christmas parade, the opening of the Hall of Trees and the Lane of Lights.
Annual Dinner & Auction
Held on the third Thursday in April at the Elms Hotel, our Annual Dinner and Auction celebrates the achievements of the Chamber and honors our Community Award recipients.
Small Business Saturday
The Saturday after Thanksgiving is celebrated as Small Business Saturday nationwide. The Chamber encourages and promotes locals to do their holiday shopping in Excelsior Springs.
Ongoing Events
Monthly Luncheons
Held on the third Wednesday of each month (except April) our monthly networking luncheons average around 100 guests. Luncheons are $5.00 per attendee. RSVP is required.
Meet&Eat
First Fridays are an occasion for getting together to Meet&Eat. This casual, no format lunch encourages members to gather at a different restaurant each month for lunch — no strings attached.
Wake Up! Morning Networking
Our Wake Up! events offer networking earlier in the day. Typically capped off by coffee, this networking event is hosted by businesses located on the West Side.
Chamber After Hours
These free, after work networking events are hosted by Chamber members. There is networking, refreshments and a good time had by all.
Educate 2 Cultivate
Our professional development series includes speakers and a variety of business-related topics. Held quarterly.
Chamber 101
Designed as a new member orientation, our Chamber 101 class is a great way for new (or existing!) members to learn how to maximize their Chamber membership.
