Chamber Committee Opportunities
The Chamber invites you to get involved! Look over our committees then submit your interest to serve on one or more and a committee chair or the Chamber director will get in touch with you.
Dinner and Auction
Oversees the planning and implementation of the Annual Dinner and Auction. Meets monthly from January through April. Meets weekly in April.
Awards (Business and Community)
Reviews nominations and makes selections for Business Awards that are given in December and the Community Awards that are awarded in April. Meets twice a year.
Economic Development
Serves as the liason with the City economic development efforts.
Professional Development
Chooses topics relavant to the business community and secures speakers to present at the Educate 2 Cultivate. Meets as needed.
Finance
Oversees the financial operations of the Chamber and the License Bureau. Meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 3:00pm.
Marketing/Tourism
Markets the community for tourism. Meets on the first Monday of the month at 11:30am.
Trolley
Oversees the planning, implementation and marketing of all trolley tours and events. Meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 12:00pm.
Waterfest
Oversees the planning and implementation of the Waterfest event. Sub-committees oversee vendors, entertainment, parade, kid’s activities and more. Committee meets on the first Friday of each month at 9:00am year-round.
West Side
Oversees the planning of special events and promotions that promote businesses located outside of the downtown district. Meets on last Wednesday of each month at 12:00pm.
