Business of the Month

"Ameren has always been a big supporter of the communities we serve," said Mike Edwards, Ameren UE Customer Service Provider. "We know that a strong community and a strong Chamber help everyone that is living or doing business within a community."
"Although residential development has slowed substantially in our area, I can not remember when we have had so many commercial projects in all stages of development here in Excelsior Springs," Edwards said. "If you don't think Excelsior Springs is growing, just drive around and see the numerous commercial projects that have started construction this summer: Red Cross Pharmacy, Community Bank of Missouri, E Z Quick Lube, Waffle House, Walgreens Drug Store and EXT Plastics remodeling of the old DeNovus building."
Founded in 1902, Ameren UE Missouri's largest electric utility provides electric service to approximately 1.2 million customers across Missouri. Ameren UE serves 57 Missouri counties and 500 towns. Missouri electric customers pay some of the lowest electric rates in the country.
Local offices are located at 2101 N. Jesse James Road. To learn more about the services provided by Ameren UE, contact 1-800-552-7583 or visit the website.
Join us for our monthly luncheons
We would like to thank those of you who are attending our monthly luncheons and encourage you to invite a non-Chamber to be your guest.
The purpose of this function is to increase networking opportunities for the Chamber membership and to increase member involvement. The Chamber has grown substantially in the past two years adding 122 new members and this new monthly event is just a simple and convenient way to get our membership face-to-face with fellow business owners said Mike Edwards, Luncheon Committee Chair.
Be sure to bring your business cards for an opportunity to be chosen Chamber Business of the Month. The winner will be featured on the Chamber website for a month and will receive an ad in the Excelsior Springs Standard and the Town and Country Leader for one issue. In addition at the next meeting they will have a display table and the chance to talk briefly about their business.
The Monthly Luncheons are sponsored by various chamber member businesses, if you would like more information about sponsoring contact the Chamber Office.
