The October Chamber Luncheon was held October 21 at the Montgomery Event Venue in downtown Excelsior Springs. The Excelsior Springs School District was the sponsor for the event, with a lasagna meal catered in by the Excelsior Springs Golf Course.
The school district's presentation was given by Mr. Haney, the Excelsior Springs School's Theatre Instructor, and two of the students who will be appearing in the upcoming musical "The King and I." Earlier this month, students decorated the Chamber's window to advertise the play.
Money collected from this month's luncheon Dollar Donation will be donated to Opeartion School Bell. This is a program designed to take students in need of proper winter clothing shopping to get what is comfortable for them.
