CHRISTMAS KICK-OFF SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 18
The Community Christmas Committee is responsible for organizing the community events and holiday displays that make Excelsior Springs a magical place during the holiday season. We cannot do it without your help! We hope you’ll volunteer to help with one of our events, but remember, just attending our events helps to continue this wonderful Excelsior Springs tradition of decorating and celebrating the holidays through an all volunteer effort.
We are now accepting sign-ups for the 2017 Lane of Lights, click here for more info.
For more information or to volunteer, send us an email!
The Lighted Parade takes place during the Christmas Kickoff on Saturday, November 18, beginning at 6 p.m. The theme this year is Christmas in Toyland. This is a family-friendly parade to be enjoyed by all!
Festival of Trees
The Hall of Trees inside the historic Hall of Waters, 201 E. Broadway, opens immediately following the parade. Hours will be Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Open throughout the holiday season with beautifully and uniquely decorated Christmas trees on display surrounding the world’s longest mineral water bar.
Lane of Lights
The Lane of Lights is located along Lovers Lane in East Valley Park and is open through December 31. The Christmas Committee has created this lighted drive-through holiday display to give families and friends a destination on cold winter evenings. It’s a great way to top off or start an evening out to dinner or the movies, the school holiday performance or your family get-together. Admission by donation. The Christmas Committee partners with local organizations for this fundraising event.
