91st Annual Awards Dinner and Auction

Award Presentations will be made to Citizen of the Years, Citizen of the Year, Volunteer of the Year,
Chamber Member of the Year, and special recognition awards.
To celebrate this year, guests are encouraged to wear black and white attire. Proceeds from the ticket sales will help support our scholarship fund, which goes to local high school students. Without the generous contributions of auction items from our members, our event would not be a success. We hope that we can count on you!
Not only will your donation help the Chamber, it is a great way to promote your business in front of an audience of over 200 dinner guests made up of community and business leaders. It gives you an opportunity to promote your business through free publicity in the local newspaper and online through the Chamber’s website and social media. An investment in the Chamber is an investment in the Excelsior Springs community.
There are many ways to contribute to the success of this event!
Attend the Event:
Tickets to this year’s event will go on sale in February and will be $45 per person. $5 from each ticket sold will go straight to our scholarship fund benefiting local high school graduates. Dinner, dessert and water/tea is included, and a cash bar will be available. As always, guests do not receive a physical ticket. Your name will be added to the registration list and you’ll check in upon arrival to the event.
POP a TOP Fundraiser:
Our POP a TOP beer and wine fundraiser returns in 2018! Participants will purchase a numbered cork or bottle top and will automatically win the corresponding bottle of wine or pack of beer, so everyone who plays wins! At the end of the evening, all corks and bottle tops will be entered in to win one of many Grand Prizes.
Craft Beer and Bottles of Wine:
We’re accepting donations of craft beer (preferably in 4 or 6 packs) and bottles of wine. We’re also seeking beer/wine related donations that can be used for our Grand Prizes.
Silent and Oral Auction Items:
We’re accepting donations of items to be auctioned off during both the silent auction and the live auction throughout the dinner.
All auction items will be listed, along with the business donor, on our website and in the Excelsior Springs Standard. The sooner we know what items are being donated, the quicker your business will be on those lists. Items can be delivered to the Chamber office or someone from our committee will be happy to pick up the item when it is ready. Please email Tosha or call the office to have your item picked up.
Like all of the Chamber’s projects, this event is led by a committee of volunteers, and we’re always seeking more people to join us! Whether you want to help gather donations leading up to the event, want to help set up and decorate, or if you can work at the registration/check out table on the night of the event, we’d be happy to have you!
