• June 28 Spaghetti Dinner sponsored by St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Will be held in the Great Hall at the Good Samaritan Center, 5-7 p.m. $5 per person includes spaghetti, salad, drink and dessert. All proceeds go to the Good Samaritan Center.

• June 29 Sergeant Nathaniel Beeghly will be giving a special presentation with Retired Staff Sergeant Milo at the Excelsior Springs Museum & Archives, 101 E. Broadway, 2 p.m. Milo is a bomb sniffing dog and Sergeant Beeghly was his trainer. They served in Afghanistan together and Milo now enjoys retirement while Sergeant Beeghly still trains canines at Fort Leonard Wood.
