• Aug. 28-31 – You Can't Take It With You performed at Slightly Off Broadway Theatre, 114 Marietta, 7:30-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 2 p.m. Sunday.

• Aug. 29 – Wine-In and Movie, Fence Stile Vineyards & Winery, W. 124th St., 8-10 p.m. Showing the 1995 film "A Walk in The Clouds" starring Keanu Reeves, Aitana Sanchez-Gijon and Anthony Quinn.

• Aug. 30-31 – Live Music Weekend at Willow Spring Mercantile, 249 E. Broadway, Saturday 2-5 p.m., Sunday 1-4 p.m.

• Aug. 30 – Danielle Nichole, Ice House Blues Garden at Wabash BBQ, 646 S. Kansas City Ave., 7-11 p.m. No cover charge.

• Sept. 3 – "Our Lives, Our Stories: the Greatest Generation" traveling exhibition opens at the Excelsior Springs Museum & Archives, 101 E. Broadway, 11 a.m. The exhibition will explore the life arc of those born in the 1910's to the 1920's. For more information, visit the museum website.

• Sept. 3 – Farmers Market, parking lot at corner of Broadway and Elizabeth, 4 -7 p.m. Fresh produce, flowers, jellies, salsa. Storytime 5-6 p.m. sponsored by the Excelsior Springs Mid-Continent Public Library; 102.7 FM remote with music.

• Sept. 6 – Annual Wine Tour Sign-up with Itchin' 2 Go Travel and Willow Spring Mercantile from 11-4 p.m. The 4th Annual Amtrak Train Wine Tour will be held on November 14-16 to Augusta, Mo. Only nine spots left!

• Sept. 6 – Copper Creek Band, Ice House Blues Garden at Wabash BBQ, 646 S. Kansas City Ave., 7-11 p.m. No cover charge.
